- Online Degree Pathway is one piece of your bachelor’s degree
Your bachelor's degree consists of foundational credits (online degree pathway), program specific credits, and upper division credits
Build a base for your bachelor’s degree with Boise State’s Online Degree Pathway. The foundation credits earned with the Pathway are the first step in attaining your degree, prepping you for upper division and degree-specific classes. And the pathway is perfect for learners like you: Working adults with the career and personal goal of earning a college degree.
The Online Degree Pathway offers:
- Handpicked online courses that give you a clear path for completing foundation degree requirements
- Student success coaches and advisers who are there to help you every step of the way
- Upon finishing, the ability to smoothly transition into an online bachelor’s degree completion program at Boise State
The Online Degree Pathway can be completed 100% online in either full- or part-time formats. The classes help you establish the critical skills you’ll need to excel in an academic program, and they have been purposefully designed and developed for online delivery using a set of quality standards.
Our curriculum emphasizes:
- CRITICAL THINKING: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- PROBLEM SOLVING: Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- COMMUNICATION: Expressing thoughts and ideas coherently through written or verbal channels
Tailored for post-traditional learners, the Pathway provides you with a flexible, convenient method for working toward a degree without pushing pause on the rest of your life.
