The Online Degree Pathway offers:

The Online Degree Pathway can be completed 100% online in either full- or part-time formats. The classes help you establish the critical skills you’ll need to excel in an academic program, and they have been purposefully designed and developed for online delivery using a set of quality standards.
Our curriculum emphasizes:
- CRITICAL THINKING: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- PROBLEM SOLVING: Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

Tutoring, Workshops, and Writing Consultations
The Advising and Academic Support Center (AASC) provides academic support for students including online tutoring, academic coaching, and success workshops. The Boise State Writing Center provides online consultations for students who want feedback on their writing assignments.
Accessible course content and services
We design all our courses to meet current accessibility standards. However, if you need an additional accommodation to fully participate in online courses or programs at Boise State University, the Educational Access Center is here to support you. You can request services online and an Educational Access Specialist will work with you and your program to provide the necessary support for you to be successful.
Career Planning and Job Search
The Career Center is your resource for applying for an internship, planning for your career, searching for a job, or preparing for graduate school. You can even schedule an appointment to speak with a Career Counselor. To learn more, visit the Virtual Career Center.
Research, Citations, Tutorials, Inter-library Loan
The Albertsons Library at Boise State is a wealth of knowledge and resources you can use throughout your academic career. You will find resources to aid in your research, properly cite your sources, how-to videos, and a variety of tools you can access from a distance.
myBoiseState, Google Apps, Blackboard, Passwords
The Office of Information Technology at Boise State provides support for a variety of systems including myBoiseState, Google Apps, and Blackboard. Proctored exams from a distance
Some programs and courses may require one or more proctored exams. Proctoring promotes academic fairness and ensures both the integrity and credibility of online courses and programs. The Testing Center can assist in locating and scheduling a proctored exam with an approved proctor.
