The foundational credits earned with the Pathway are the first step in attaining your degree, prepping you for upper division and degree-specific classes. And the pathway is perfect for learners like you: Working adults with the career and personal goal of earning a college degree.

The Online Degree Pathway offers:

  • Handpicked online courses that give you a clear path for completing foundational degree requirements

  • Upon finishing, the ability to smoothly transition into an online bachelor’s degree completion program at Boise State

The Online Degree Pathway can be completed 100% online in either full- or part-time formats. The classes help you establish the critical skills you’ll need to excel in an academic program, and they have been purposefully designed and developed for online delivery using a set of quality standards.

Our curriculum emphasizes:

  • CRITICAL THINKING: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • PROBLEM SOLVING: Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • COMMUNICATION: Expressing thoughts and ideas coherently through written or verbal channels

Tailored for post-traditional learners, the Pathway provides you with a flexible, convenient method for working toward a degree without pushing pause on the rest of your life.
