    Advance your career potential…online!

"The main thing I’ve enjoyed about this program is the interaction with other classmates…Through our discussion posts, I have learned so much. I learned new ways of looking at an issue. I learned new ways to solve problems. I debated with other classmates whose ideals differed from my own." Jen, class of 2016

Communication and support that keeps you connected

“I cannot say enough good things about this university, program and instructors involved. Communication was optimal and I never felt distant even though it is an online program. Attending and graduating this program was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.” – Hannah, Alaska, class of 2016

Online Imaging Sciences Degree Overview

Boise State University’s fully online Bachelor of Science in Imaging Sciences is an associate to bachelor’s degree completion program for medical imaging professionals. The Online Imaging Sciences Degree is designed for credentialed imaging practitioners who wish to advance their career potential by completing a bachelor degree. Our curriculum aligns with the American Society of Radiologic Technology (ASRT) Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences Core Curriculum.

The proposed B.S.R.S. core curriculum continues to expand areas found in the entry-level radiography curriculum, such as critical thinking, human diversity, research and communication skills. Students at the B.S.R.S. level engage these topics with more depth and breadth, resulting in a broader knowledge base and skill set than the entry-level radiographer.ASRT

You will learn from faculty who are well-versed in medical imaging and engage with fellow students active in the profession. You may earn your degree in as little as 12 months with full-time enrollment, or in 24 months with part-time enrollment. No clinical course requirements are associated with this program.
