Boise State’s Online Master of Social Work Program Earns National Recognition for Quality, Value

Boise State University’s online master of social work (MSW) program has again received national recognition in two key categories: quality and affordability.

The program ranked 19th in the nation in SR Education Group’s 2019 Best Online Colleges rankings based on its efforts to provide economical options for students. Inclusion on this list shows high return on investment and commitment to affordability, two key factors for prospective students.

SR Education, an education research publisher founded in 2004, analyzed over 600 unique online colleges. Methodology included degree-specific tuition rates that are manually researched by SR Education Group as well as data from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Boise State’s online MSW program currently serves 308 students from 45 states around the country. The program is designed to prepare students for advanced social work practice with individuals and families. Students learn clinical, organizational and policy skills necessary for promoting social justice and equality and enhancing the quality of life for all people.
