Congratulations and Welcome to Bronco Nation!

There are a few things you’ll need to be aware of and complete before registering for classes. If you need to change your semester start date, please use this Semester Switch Request to notify Admissions. Otherwise, use this page as your guide and if you have questions get in touch with your program representatives.

Set up your myBoiseState Student Account

myBoiseState-setupIf you haven’t already, it’s time to get your myBoiseState student account set up and ready to go! This is the account where you will register for classes, view your financial aid and manage your student account, and access resources like Blackboard and BroncoMail. Follow these step-by-step directions to get started today.


New Student Orientation

new-student-orientationYou’ll need to complete a New Student Orientation before registering for classes. An orientation introduces you to key resources and support at Boise State University. Directions on how to access your online program’s New Student Orientation are sent directly to you by email. After you complete this online orientation, you will register for classes.


Order your Bronco Card

bronco-cardA Bronco Card is Boise State’s official student ID. You can use this card to get discounts at local retailers who offer student discounts. To request your student ID or Bronco Card, email a digital photo in .jpg format to the BroncoCard office at broncobucks@boisestate.edu. Be sure to include your student ID number and return address. Your Bronco Web account is charged $25 for your Bronco Card. See here for picture requirements


Review your Finances
